« I grew up in the sun, in the nooks and crannies of my garden, on hiking trails, on winter or summer beaches. Everywhere I went, I found a stone, a shiny mineral, a shell or a piece of glass. I collected treasures that only I understood and which, little by little, awakened in me a unique love. »

Audrey FAISSAL is not yet 3 years old when her mother offers her her first minerals: 3 small polished pink quartz. The little child she is keeps them preciously on her bedside table, like eternal treasures. To this day, stones still surround her in her sleep, adorning her dream catchers.

« My passion for gemstones was born from this curiosity for nature and its details. Faithful to my wishes, this one will later become my job. »

Audrey has devoted her professional career to one thing only: her passion for stones. From high school, the young woman gets her first experiences in jewelry workshops, in Marseille and Tripoli (Lebanon). She pursues her studies at ESSEC Business School in Paris, then joins the prestigious Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York, where she graduates as a gemologist and tries her hand at mechanical jewelry design.

Upon her return in France, Audrey sharpens her jewelry expertise in the manufacturing workshop of an emblematic jewelry house in Marseille. Surrounded by people with more than 20 years of experience, she learns alongside the best about quality control, stone purchasing, repair and transformation of antique jewelry.

« In 2018, driven by a desire to share my love and knowledge, I finally concretized the dream of the little girl I was: to design and market my jewelry creations. »

A year later, Audrey embarks on an entrepreneurial adventure with a jewelry concept that she knows is promising: Courpré is born. Today, she wishes to loosen the strict codes of this sector by bringing her young and unique vision.
